The East Boston Museum's — An organization with the mission to honor and preserve the rich and diverse history of East Boston for current and future generations.
East Boston Social Center -- Is a multi-service agency incorporated in 1918, it provides childcare, after-school programming, recreational programming for the elderly, and community space for numerous advocacy, self-help and community groups.
Friends of the East Boston Greenway: An organization of residents who serve as stewards of the East Boston Green Way, an open space which residents can use for a range of recreational activities.
GreenRoots: A community-based organization dedicated to achieving environmental justice and greater quality of life through collective action, unity, education, and youth leadership across neighborhoods and communities.
No Eastie Casino: A grassroots group of neighbors comprised of a diverse cross-section of citizens from the historic neighborhood and beyond opposed to a casino at Suffolk Downs.

Lightship “Nantucket”: Nantucket Lightship No. 112 is a designated a National Historic Landmark. For 39 years it served to guide transoceanic shipping to and from U.S. east coast ports, it was often the first symbol of America encountered by thousands of immigrants.
